MeanderGroep Zuid Limburg focuses on efficiency
The MeanderGroep Zuid-Limburg has set up a project with Nedap healthcare that will improve how the group plans and accounts for the healthcare services it provides.
All the clients of the MeanderGroep Zuid Limburg will be given a customer card. The healthcare services they receive are registered in a very simple but reliable manner using this card. Furthermore, the services are planned in digitally so that employees can view what customers they are due to visit and possible modifications to the schedule at any time of day.
Previously, the group's employees used to register the hours they worked on machine-readable forms. This was both laborious and expensive. Reason enough for the MeanderGroep Zuid Limburg to introduce Nedap healthcare's iO Concept and Moves software.
The goal is to present up-to-date information to all those involved (operative, manager and planner) simply, quickly and without omissions.
Although the contracts were not finalized until 29 September, a start will be made on computerizing healthcare activities in November. As of 1 January 2009, all the employees in the Home Help and Nursing department will be able to access and use the new solutions from the patients' homes. So to sum up, a very short implementation time will allow the MeanderGroep Zuid Limburg to gain maximum benefit from the new system in just a few months.
